If you are aware or not, these internet gadgets are dangerous and stressful too. I closely studied my kids and this is what I learn.
Balancing your kid’s memory
Kids nowadays are very sharp and different than the 20s. They grabbed your words, action in no time. Their living style is also getting a different shaped. Many times you must have thought about how my child is different than I used to. Because we have less time and hence we hand them our mobile phone or tablet. Too much use can lead to eye blind in your kids at an early age. If your kids started wearing glasses at an early age of life then parents who want their children a model, actor or a field where personality matters, you have to start building your children from today.
Play tricky and memory booster mind games.
Playing cards or chess is the best game, despite the fact that I don’t know how to play chess, but it really triggers your kid’s memories better than playing candy crush like games on the mobile. If your kids having limited books who displays pictures then grab few. Bring toys (blocks) which can be built up house or create the shape of different vehicles or animal. Let them using pen or paper or even don’t bother if they are writing on the wall.
Most of the parents slap their kids if they write on the wall, let them use their skills. If you are hitting your kids at an early stage then their creativity will die right there.
Take them to walk and teach them how to bicycle.
The bicycle has always been a favourite for many kids and I did my schooling and college. Still, it is one the best for exercise, I see many urban children go to school by bicycle. Engaging your children for this play is not only increase hunger but also keep your kids energetic level up all the time. He will never feel dizzy or losing interest in any kind of activities. I also had a doubt on this but when I experienced this with my two years old, I found a few changes as below.
- She got asleep peacefully early
- Wake up early
- Had her dinner more than it’s a regular meal
- Next morning she asked more for it
- Her thought process had been changed enormously
Engage them in sports activities and exposure to many people.
If you are a sports person then I don’t need to tell all of this. Playing football or cricket can keep your kids away from electronic gadgets. When you take your child outside of the house, he observes people, their actions, tone, language and all the activities they do. It really helps your kids grow mentally faster. If you are restricting your child’s freedom inside the house then he/she will take a long time to develop the champ mentally. Many times we live in a crowded city, have a narrow lane, high traffic. Your kids won’t have a chance to get out of the house. It is really bad, but you have a solution to it. You can take him to a garden in the evening and let him/her explore the little world in front of him.
The reason behind this, after your hectic office hours you can not take your kids to the garden in your society. Maybe your dad or mother take them for a walk, half of the time they are busy losing their weight, walking along the track and let your kids play on their own with one or two kids. This adds no value what today’s kids are needed. There is a huge gap between your father and kids. You are up to date. Not every day but at least on weekends do these activities with them or take one hour daily.
Spending much time with your kids can relieve your stress from the office.
